Waist-to-Hip Ratio

Output: Press calculate

Formula: WHR = waistCircumference / hipCircumference

The Waist-to-Hip Ratio (WHR) is a measure of the distribution of body fat. It's calculated by dividing the circumference of the waist by the circumference of the hips. waistCircumference is the measurement around the narrowest portion of the waist, typically at the level of the navel, and hipCircumference is the measurement around the widest part of the buttocks.

WHR is used as an indicator of health and risk of developing serious health conditions. A higher WHR indicates more abdominal fat, which, at extreme levels, can be associated with a greater risk of heart disease, diabetes, and stroke among other conditions.
